The Fishbein Fundamentals conference was founded by Dr. Ben Fishbein and Fishbein Orthodontics COO Amanda Floyd in 2018. Since then we have hosted more than 500 orthodontic practices and 1000 attendees across more than 15 conferences.
Our purpose is to share the “secret sauce” that helped make Fishbein Orthodontics the fastest growing practice in the Southeast.

Dr. Fishbein is originally from Maryland and did his dental school training there. After completing dental school, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida to complete his Orthodontic Residency and Fellowship training. Soon after residency, he earned his Board Certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics by the American Board of Orthodontics. In addition to serving his patients at Fishbein Orthodontics, he also serves on the board of the EscaRosa Dental Society and Florida Dental Association. He also has the privilege of lecturing to Orthodontic residency programs on Invisalign, Incognito (behind the teeth braces), and practice management. Dr. Fishbein’s ingenuity and conviction motivate his team to reach outstanding goals.
Kasey started with Fishbein Orthodontics in 2014 as a sterilization technician. She quickly transferred into the role of Treatment Coordinator and eventually Sales Director. Kasey has trained the treatment coordinators at Fishbein Orthodontics, and many of her systems are not only used at the Fishbein Orthodontics offices, but offices across the country. Kasey started the whitening program at Fishbein Orthodontics, which has become the leading provider of Zoom whitening in Florida. Kasey is now the Director of Fishbein Fundamentals, and continues to help offices all across the country with new patient systems, sales, and treatment coordinator training.
Miranda started with Fishbein Orthodontics in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. She then transferred to Records Technician, Certified Orthodontic Assistant, Treatment Coordinator, and is currently Fishbein Orthodontics’ Lead Treatment Coordinator. After showcasing her creative skills, Miranda took on the role as Creative Director for Fishbein Fundamentals, in conjunction with her Lead TC position. As Lead TC, she continues to help New Patients start their Orthodontic journey while leading the Fishbein Sales Team to stay motivated and productive. As Creative Director, Miranda helps Executive Director, Kasey, tackle the behind the scenes of Fishbein Fundamentals. She creates content and manages Fishbein Fundamentals social media pages and website.
Cali is a marketing professional with over 15 years of experience as a marketing consultant to businesses and brands locally along the gulf coast, regionally and nationally. Cali originally was introduced to the Fishbein team while working as a marketing consultant for a local media and broadcast company. Back then, the Fishbein team was a small but mighty 1 doctor, 1 office team. Over the years Cali has worked with the fishbein team through many years of growth and expansion on a number of different marketing strategies, events and partnerships and has always felt like an honorary member of the Fish Ortho family. In 2022, Cali officially became a member of the team when she accepted the role of Event Coordinator for Fishbein Fundamentals.
Dr. Howle is a native of Dothan, Alabama. Following high school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Psychology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society. While at UAB, she conducted research on dental biomaterials which was published in the Journal of Dentistry. She then received her orthodontic training and Master’s degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Howle’s quick wit and positive attitude made her an instant staple in the FishOrtho family.
Brittany S. joined the Fishbein Orthodontics’ team in early 2015. She grew up as an “Army kid” and has lived all over the world in places such as Germany, Tennessee, Texas, and now Florida. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Education, but luckily decided her true passion was in orthodontics. She became a certified orthodontic assistant and was quickly propelled into the position of Clinical Manager. Brittany’s organizational skills, composed demeanor, and objective management practices have helped her direct and retain multiple large teams of capable clinicians.
Alyx was born and raised locally in Gulf Breeze, FL. Before joining the team, she spent 10 years in the food and beverage industry, 7 of those as a sushi chef before changing career paths. She was then urged by a former co-worker to interview with Fishbein. She started with the practice in August of 2018 as one of our first call center agents, moved to the front desk team and then onto manage a couple of our locations. In July 2020, Alyx went back to our Patient Care Center to take on her new role as Director of Patient Communications. Her team has maintained an average 97% answer call rate, making them one of the best in the industry.
Sarah has worked in other departments at Fishbein Orthodontics before taking over the marketing department. While utilizing our tried and true marketing methods, she is getting creative and bringing a fresh perspective to the industry.

Madison was born in Mississippi and raised in Pensacola, FL. After 10 years in the sales and hospitality industry, Madison entered the world of orthodontics in 2018. She started her orthodontic journey as a Clinical Assistant and quickly transitioned into the role of Treatment Coordinator. With her vivacious personality and strong work ethic, Madison maintained a high closing rate and excelled in her years as a Treatment Coordinator, which eventually led to her current role as the Director of Sales. Madison oversees the entire Sales Team at Fishbein Orthodontics to ensure their industry leading goals are met while providing an excellent patient experience. She is responsible for training any new treatment coordinators in the simplified and effective systems the team uses to consistently maintain an extremely high closing rate while seeing up to 40 new patients a day in just one location.
