Although we have a number of fantastic partnerships including the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Pensacola Ice Flyers, we have added one that is extra special. Our newest partnership is with the Pensacola Humane Society.
For every patient that starts treatment at Fishbein Orthodontics, a donation will be made to the Pensacola Humane Society. These donations will go to providing increased medical care – allowing the Pensacola Humane Society to sustain the animals they have.
Fishbein Orthodontics hopes to raise $2000 from June to December 2016. Examples of the impact of this donation are: $10 – Microchip one dog or cat; $20 – Feeds the kittens for a week; $50 – Spay/neuter one dog or cat; $70 – Spay/neuter and vaccinate one dog or cat.
According to Sarah Humlie, Executive Director, “there are 60 to 70 dogs and cats on average in the shelter and another 90 to 100 in foster care. Each averages $500 in cost between intake and adoption.”
Fishbein Orthodontics will also be helping the Pensacola Humane Society with adoption events – including hosting a number of adoption events at our offices. We’re taking it one step further – if you are willing to save an animal at the Humane Society – we will cover a portion of the adoption fee, as long as you or your family member is a patient of ours.
